This week we welcome Charlene Doak-Gebauer to The Hamilton Review Podcast! Charlene is a keynote speaker, globally renowned expert of digital child and family protection and award-winning Producer/Director of the documentary “Vulnerable Innocence.”

Regularly featured on radio and TV, Amb. Dr. Charlene Doak-Gebauer is considered a globally renowned expert on digital child and family protection in the modern world. She is the Founder and Chair of the federal Canadian charity “Internet Sense First”; and of the AICET Council (Anti Internet Child Exploitation Team). She is the recipient of multiple awards for her work.

Charlene is the award-winning Producer/Director of the documentary Vulnerable Innocence, which is based on her Theory of Digital Supervision. This film just won its 25th award in March 2024. Awards are international, ranging from Best Educational Documentary in Liverpool, UK and Las Vegas, NV, to Best International Documentary in Austin, TX, and many more. She has just returned from Los Angeles and Hollywood (March 2024) where Vulnerable Innocence was screened in two theatres.

A Computer Science Specialist in education and network administrator, she has taught secondary and post-secondary students, including advanced level Computer Science to gifted secondary school students, and computer applications to behavioural students. She is the author of two books and is completing her newest release, which will include details of her theory of Digital Supervision and her new theory of Digital Sex Trafficking.

She has presented in Canada, the USA, Iceland, Europe, Africa, India, and countless online presentations which have included multiple countries. Charlene has presented in parallel with the General Assembly of the United Nations. She is the Canadian Ambassador to the United States Presidential Service Center, G100 Global Chair of multiple countries for Childcare, Protection, and Parenting, member of the Advisory Board of the SHERO Foundation, Las Vegas.
