In this episode, Dr. Bob has a wonderful conversation with his long time friend and colleague, Dr. Dennis Woo. In this episode, Dr. Bob and Dr. Woo talk about his journey into pediatrics and his long time successful career. They take a deep dive into parenting and Dr. Woo wisely tells us: “Good parents become students of their children.” They also discuss loving and accepting your children for who they are. There are so many nuggets of wisdom in this conversation and you will be blessed and enlightened by this episode.

Dr. Dennis Woo was born and raised in San Francisco, California and remain an avid San Francisco sports fan.

Below is Dr. Woo’s wonderful bio in his own words:

Even though my parents were not Christians, they insisted that my siblings and I attend our neighborhood church. By the grace of God, I became a believer at the age of thirteen and grew up in the church. Attending college at UC Berkeley during the tumultuous Vietnam war period made me realize how much the world needed Christ. After finishing medical school and residency in Southern California, I joined a pediatric practice in Santa Monica. After 41 fulfilling years of practice, I retired in 2019. I have had numerous opportunities to participate in medical missions overseas and thank God for the chance to share the love of Christ with others. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, 3 children, and 2 grandchildren.
